This article discusses advanced clinical care as a practice of the nursing profession by applying the four concepts. The nursing meta paradigm play a critical role in the advanced clinical care practice. The first concept, that is, the person requires that persons interact with one another. Person refers to the patients and their families, the care providers and the community (George, 2011). In advanced clinical practice, one needs to understand not only the patient but their families and the community that the patient comes from. It is essential that the persons know and appreciate the care they get, and the clinical officer must understand that they have independence in the options presented to them.
