From a public health perspective, this trend is problematic as hypertension correlates directly with cardiovascular diseases. Patients diagnosed with hypertension must maintain consistency with lifestyle modification and taking antihypertensives for good blood pressure control. This often requires regular follow-up appointments when physicians adjust antihypertensive dosages and monitor patient’s progress.
