Community Nursing Reflection
Community Health Nursing was another class where I was unsure what to expect. I really didn’t understand what the concept of community nursing was. The image I had in my mind was of a nurse working at the Health Department, or maybe a school nurse. I was unaware that community health nurses help to plan and implement interventions to improve the quality of health for citizens.NUR 4363C- Community Nursing Reflection Paper
Part of the course-work for this course involved students “choosing” a community and investigating problems that the chosen community faces. I thought at first that this was a complicated process, but after spending time with my chosen community, I quickly identified several problems which many of the people shared.
